About The Role

We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven Business Strategy professional with deep expertise in Performance Management Systems (PMS), KPI design, and KRA frameworks. The ideal candidate will shape organizational strategy, deploy robust performance management architecture, and ensure alignment between business goals and operational execution across all functions. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role requiring strong analytical acumen, leadership, and a thorough command of multiple strategy and PMS frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Business Strategy & Planning
  
  

Lead the annual and long-range strategic planning process aligned with the organization's vision and mission.Conduct macro-environmental analysis using PESTLE, Porter's Five Forces, SWOT/TOWS, and industry benchmarking.Facilitate strategy workshops with senior leadership and translate objectives into actionable plans.Monitor strategic initiative execution and present insights through dashboards and leadership reports.

• Performance Management System (KPI & KRA)
  
  

Design, implement, and continuously improve the organization-wide Performance Management System.Define and cascade KPIs and KRAs across business units, departments, teams, and individual contributors.Establish performance review cycles (quarterly, bi-annual, annual) aligned with strategic milestones.Collaborate with HR to integrate PMS with appraisal, rewards, and talent development processes.Build PMS dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools using Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent platforms.Drive a culture of accountability, data-driven decision-making, and continuous performance improvement.

• Frameworks Application & Governance
  
  

Apply and govern strategy and performance frameworks including:Balanced Scorecard (BSC) – Financial, Customer, Internal Process, and Learning perspectivesOKR (Objectives & Key Results) – Company, departmental, and individual OKRsMBO (Management by Objectives) – Goal-setting and appraisal integrationHoshin Kanri (Policy Deployment) for strategy execution alignmentSix Sigma / Lean / DMAIC for process excellence and performance gap closureCustomize frameworks to organizational maturity levels and sector-specific requirements.Benchmark performance against industry standards, global best practices, and competitor data.

• Stakeholder Reporting & Cross-functional Collaboration
  
  

Prepare Board-level and CXO-level strategy decks, performance reports, and presentations.Align departmental OKRs/KPIs with enterprise-wide strategic objectives.Partner with Finance, HR, Operations, Sales, and Marketing for integrated performance planning.Present data-driven recommendations to senior leadership with clarity and confidence.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical & Functional Skills

Mastery of KPI/KRA design, cascading logic, weightage models, and performance tracking.Proficiency in strategy frameworks: BSC, OKR, MBO, SWOT, TOWS, Ansoff, BCG, GE Matrix, Porter's Five Forces.Hands-on experience with PMS tools, ERP performance modules, or HRMS platforms.Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint; experience with Power BI or Tableau for dashboards.Strong financial acumen – P&L understanding, ROI analysis, cost-benefit analysis.Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or DMAIC process improvement methodologies.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

MBA (Strategy / Finance) from a reputed B-School; B.E./B.Tech preferred

Certifications

PMP, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, Certified BSC Professional (preferred)

8 – 10 Years in Business Strategy, Corporate Planning, or PMS
