Job Description

Job Title: Junior Barista Reports To: Senior Barista / Café Manager Job Purpose: Assist in beverage preparation and service while maintaining café cleanliness and providing friendly guest interactions.

Requirements

• Preparation: Prepare coffee and beverages according to standard recipes.
• Mise-en-place: Stock the coffee station and prepare ingredients for service.
• Cleanliness: Maintain a sanitized workstation, equipment, and service area.
• Service: Engage customers professionally and process billing via POS.
• Compliance: Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and storage (FIFO) protocols.
• Support: Assist senior staff with inventory and general café duties.
• Experience: 0–1 year in a café (Freshers welcome).
• Skills: Basic coffee knowledge and an eagerness to learn brewing techniques.
• Attributes: Strong communication and ability to work flexible shifts.
