Guardian of Childhood is a youth-led nonprofit working to advance children's rights and create safer environments where every child can learn, grow, and thrive.

We develop educational resources, awareness campaigns, workshops, and community initiatives that promote child protection, digital safety, mental well-being, and positive participation. Our work is guided by the principles of dignity, inclusion, respect, and the best interests of every child.

We collaborate with students, educators, parents, youth volunteers, civil society organizations, and community partners to encourage informed action and strengthen child-centered communities. Through education and advocacy, we aim to help people understand children's rights and their shared responsibility in protecting them.

About The Role

Guardian of Childhood is looking for a motivated and organized young person to serve as our Chief Operating Officer (COO) for a one-year term.

The COO will work closely with the Founder and leadership team to help coordinate the organization's internal operations, projects, departments, and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Support the Founder in coordinating organizational operations
• Coordinate with Department Heads
• Help ensure projects and programs stay on schedule
• Support volunteer coordination and team communication
• Conduct regular internal team check-ins
• Help develop organizational plans and timelines
• Identify operational challenges and suggest solutions
• Support the implementation of Guardian of Childhood's programs
• Maintain clear communication between departments
• Represent the organization's leadership when delegated
  
  

Requirements

• Teenager with strong leadership potential
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Responsible and dependable
• Able to commit for the full one-year term
• Able to manage deadlines and coordinate with a team
• Previous leadership experience is helpful but not required
• Strong interest in child rights, youth development, education, or social impact
