Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 Migration Engineer to plan, execute, and support enterprise migrations to Microsoft 365. The candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and migration tools.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute Microsoft 365 migration projects from on-premises and other email/collaboration platforms.
Perform Exchange Server to Exchange Online migrations.
Manage mailbox migrations including Cutover, Staged, and Hybrid migrations.
Configure and troubleshoot Exchange Hybrid environments.
Manage Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) synchronization using Entra Connect.
Perform migrations of SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and Microsoft 365 workloads.
Assess existing environments and prepare migration strategies, plans, and timelines.
Configure DNS records including MX, Autodiscover, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC.
Troubleshoot mailbox, mail flow, authentication, synchronization, and migration issues.
Perform pre-migration assessments, validation, testing, and post-migration support.
Use PowerShell to automate migration, reporting, and administrative tasks.
Monitor migration batches and resolve failed or stalled migration jobs.
Coordinate with infrastructure, security, network, application, and business teams.
Prepare migration documentation, runbooks, reports, and knowledge-transfer documents.
Ensure migration activities follow security, compliance, and organizational standards.
