Key Responsibilities
- Ensure on-time execution of critical program milestones, including API, SVT, SVOP, SS, and TTM, to support successful product launches.
- Experience 5+yrs
- Drive manufacturing readiness and volume ramp-up activities to achieve stable and scalable mass production.
- Support mass production builds, lot readiness, and production transfers while maintaining product quality and operational efficiency.
- Lead manufacturing engineering activities for next-generation product launches, ensuring alignment with 4P (People, Process, Product, Plant) readiness requirements.
- Monitor project schedules, track key deliverables, identify risks, and proactively resolve bottlenecks affecting program execution.
- Coordinate with Design, Test Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, and Program Management teams to ensure seamless product introduction and launch.
- Drive process improvements, manufacturing optimization, and productivity initiatives to meet business objectives.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues impacting yield, quality, cost, and delivery performance.
- Ensure manufacturing processes, tooling, documentation, and work instructions are validated and production-ready.
- Track and improve key manufacturing metrics, including yield, throughput, cycle time, ramp efficiency, and on-time delivery.
- Support engineering change implementation and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive operational excellence by ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Design, develop, and implement manufacturing tools, jigs, fixtures, and process aids in alignment with GME and ODM requirements.
- Evaluate tooling effectiveness and drive improvements to enhance product quality, throughput, and operator efficiency.
- Coordinate with suppliers and ODM teams to ensure timely development and deployment of manufacturing equipment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Operations Engineering, or Program Management within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of product development lifecycle, manufacturing processes, and production ramp-up methodologies.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and driving complex projects to completion.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
