The role involves driving automation, disaster recovery (DR) testing, and continuous service improvement initiatives across platforms such as Commvault, Azure Backup, and Veeam. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring data protection, resilience, and compliance for large-scale enterprise environments.
Design and manage enterprise backup and recovery architecture across hybrid (on-prem & cloud) environments
Drive optimization strategies to enhance performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
Lead Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and execution
Implement automation frameworks using scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash)
Ensure adherence to data protection policies, governance, and compliance standards
Manage and support platforms including Commvault, Azure Backup, and Veeam
Oversee multi-petabyte, cross-region backup environments
Conduct capacity planning and performance tuning
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams for integrated solutions
Drive continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to operations teams
Ensure alignment with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
