Job Description:

Role : Tech Lead – Embedded Software (Platform)

Function : Embedded Software Development

Work Location : Vadodara, Gujarat (Onsite)

Experience : 5+ Years

Qualification : B.E./B.Tech./M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

Technical Skills Required :

• Strong hands-on experience in C / Embedded C development.
• Strong expertise in Embedded Linux, including system-level development, debugging, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of SoC architecture, hardware components, and related platform concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Board Bring-up, Yocto, Buildroot, Linux Kernel, U-Boot, and Bootloader.
• Good exposure to Device Driver development/debugging and hardware/software integration.
• Good understanding of IPC, multithreading, synchronization, memory management, and networking.
• Hands-on experience with hardware interfaces and low-level debugging, including SPI, UART, I2C, MIPI/LVDS, and MMC/SD.
• Experience with end-to-end effort estimation, technical planning, and task breakdown, ensuring predictable and timely delivery.
• Proven experience in leading and participating in design and code reviews, with a strong focus on engineering standards, scalability, maintainability, and best practices.
• Experience ensuring that technical solutions are aligned with product requirements, architectural guidelines, and business objectives.
• Proven ability to identify technical risks, dependencies, performance bottlenecks, and architectural challenges, and drive effective mitigation strategies.
• Strong collaboration experience with Product Management, QA, Architects, Hardware, and other cross-functional teams to ensure technical and business alignment.
• Practical experience working closely with Hardware teams throughout the product lifecycle, including schematic reviews, board bring-up, hardware/software integration, thermal testing, troubleshooting, and evaluation of new or alternate hardware chips and peripherals.
