AERA Test Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced AERA Test Engineer responsible for testing, validating, and ensuring the quality and reliability of AERA-based applications and systems. The candidate should have strong experience in functional testing, integration testing, API testing, defect management, and test automation.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
Test AERA applications, workflows, interfaces, and integrations.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar.
Develop and execute detailed test cases and test scripts.
Identify, document, track, and verify defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Perform database validation using SQL queries.
Validate data flow between AERA and integrated systems.
Participate in test planning, estimation, execution, and reporting.
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA teams to resolve defects.
Perform regression testing after application fixes and enhancements.
Support UAT, production validation, and release testing.
Maintain test documentation, execution reports, and defect metrics.
Contribute to improving QA processes and automation frameworks.
Required Skills
4+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA Engineering.
Hands-on experience with AERA application/system testing.
Strong knowledge of Manual Testing and SDLC/STLC.
Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, and End-to-End Testing.
Strong experience in API Testing.
Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.
Experience with Jira / Azure DevOps or similar defect management tools.
Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or other automation tools.
Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
Experience testing enterprise applications and third-party integrations.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
