Technical Project Manager – Vulnerability Management + Scrum Master

We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in Vulnerability Management and Scrum Master practices. The candidate will be responsible for managing cybersecurity remediation programs, coordinating vulnerability assessment and remediation activities, tracking security risks, and leading Agile/Scrum ceremonies across multiple technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end Vulnerability Management and Remediation programs.

Coordinate with Security, Infrastructure, Application, Cloud, Network, and IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities within defined SLAs.

Track vulnerabilities from identification through triage, remediation, validation, and closure.

Monitor critical/high-risk vulnerabilities and drive timely remediation.

Prepare and present vulnerability dashboards, KPIs, risk reports, and remediation status to management.

Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables.

Identify remediation blockers and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for resolution.

Lead Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.

Act as Scrum Master for Agile teams and ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Work with Product Owners and technical teams to prioritize security-related backlog items.

Maintain Jira/Azure DevOps boards, sprint metrics, action items, and project documentation.

Facilitate communication between technical teams, cybersecurity teams, business stakeholders, and leadership.

Track remediation SLA compliance and escalate overdue or high-risk vulnerabilities.

Drive continuous improvement of vulnerability management and Agile delivery processes.

Required Skills

Strong experience in Technical Project Management and Scrum Master roles.

Hands-on experience with Vulnerability Management / Vulnerability Remediation.

Good understanding of cybersecurity risks, vulnerabilities, CVEs, CVSS, and remediation processes.

Experience working with vulnerability management tools such as Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7, or similar.

Strong knowledge of Jira / Confluence / Azure DevOps.

Excellent knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.

Experience managing multiple technical teams and complex dependencies.

Strong communication, presentation, reporting, and escalation skills.

Ability to translate technical security risks into business-level impact.

Good to Have

Experience with Cloud Security / AWS / Azure / GCP.

Knowledge of Patch Management, Endpoint Security, Network Security, and Application Security.

Understanding of SIEM, EDR, penetration testing, and security assessments.

PMP / CSM / PSM certification is an advantage.

Experience in enterprise cybersecurity transformation programs.
