About The Job

As a Senior Software Developer – xPression, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining end-to-end Customer Communication Management (CCM) applications using xPression and related technologies. The role involves developing multi-channel customer communications across print, web/HTML, email, archive, SMS, and fax, while managing the complete document lifecycle. You will work directly with customers to understand requirements, finalize input file structures, and deliver communication solutions using appropriate software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Customer Communication Management (CCM) applications using xPression.
• Design and develop multi-channel communications for print, web/HTML, email, archive, SMS, fax, and other supported channels.
• Integrate output queues for printing and electronic communication channels.
• Understand customer requirements and finalize appropriate input file structures.
• Work with different output formats including AFP, PDF, HTML5, LIVE, and Empower.
• Design and prepare business and technical understanding documents.
• Create developer and reviewer checklists to ensure development quality and consistency.
• Create and execute unit test cases supporting Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT activities.
• Perform effective quality assurance and ensure deliverables meet defined requirements.
• Identify opportunities for performance tuning and cost optimization within projects.
• Follow development and unit testing best practices and established methodologies.
• Review daily deliverables and provide appropriate technical feedback.
• Participate in weekly project status calls and communicate effectively with customers.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements and support successful implementation of CCM solutions.
  
  

Requirements

• 4–7 years of experience in software development with strong hands-on experience in xPression.
• Strong experience with the end-to-end document lifecycle and Customer Communication Management solutions.
• Hands-on experience designing and developing multi-channel communications using xPression.
• Experience working with output formats such as AFP, PDF, HTML5, LIVE, and Empower.
• Experience communicating directly with customers to understand requirements and finalize input file structures.
• Experience with scripting or programming languages such as Java, Shell Scripting, COBOL, or .NET.
• Good debugging, troubleshooting, and error-resolution skills.
• Experience in developing, testing, reviewing, and maintaining CCM applications.
• Strong understanding of software development, unit testing, SIT, and UAT processes.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
