Analyst/Senior Analyst - Contract Reviewer - 2+ Years - Mumbai

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Analyst/Senior Analyst – Contract Reviewer with 2+ years of experience in commercial contract review, drafting, negotiation, and redlining. The ideal candidate should have a strong legal background and hands-on experience in reviewing and managing commercial agreements while ensuring contractual compliance, mitigating risks, and supporting business objectives through effective contract lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Review, draft, negotiate, and redline commercial contracts including NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, vendor agreements, service agreements, and other business contracts.
• Identify contractual, legal, and commercial risks and recommend practical solutions to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, business teams, and legal counsel to resolve contract-related queries and facilitate timely contract execution.
• Manage the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including contract review, approvals, execution, renewals, amendments, and repository management.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and clauses while staying updated on legal and regulatory changes affecting commercial agreements.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and redlining commercial contracts.
• Qualified Lawyer (LLB) with a full-time graduation; candidates with distance/correspondence education will not be considered.
• Hands-on experience with US and/or UK commercial contracts or jurisdictions will be preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and independent decision-making skills with the ability to assess contractual and legal risks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; prior experience in the insurance industry will be an added advantage.
