Position: Mechanical Design Engineer (Robot Hardware) — SolidWorks/Fusion 360
Location: Work from office (Rajkot)
Commitment: ~8 hours/day (full-time)
Experience: 1–3 years in mechanical design
Salary: Based on candidate's skills and expectations
Joining date: Immediate
This is a hardware design role — you'll spend your day in CAD. No firmware, software, controls, or ROS development.
What you'll do:
Design robot chassis, drivetrains, linkages, grippers and enclosures. Model in SolidWorks/Fusion 360, produce manufacturing drawings with proper tolerances, select motors/gearboxes/bearings, design for CNC, sheet metal and 3D printing, and build and test your own prototypes in-house.
What you need:
- Mechanical/Mechatronics degree or diploma, daily hands-on SolidWorks or Fusion 360, solid grasp of engineering drawings and GD&T, and a portfolio of parts you designed that were actually manufactured.
