Job Description

As part of the Technology team of the Innovative Medicine Transcend SAP S/4HANA Program, this role is accountable for working with a team of functional experts to drive solution integration across supply chain & finance functions, ensuring that solutions support end-to-end business processes throughout the Design, Build, Test, and Go-Live phases.

The leader will own end-to-end integrated solution delivery across all IM Transcend releases, ensuring alignment with the overall integration strategy, business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, SAP best practices, and intercompany process requirements. This role is accountable for managing cross-functional dependencies, facilitating issue and defect resolution, and proactively identifying and mitigating integration risks.

Success in this role requires strong partnership across business and technology stakeholder groups to develop a deep understanding of solution design, integration touchpoints, and process dependencies. The leader will drive prioritization of integration issues, coordinate root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution to maintain solution quality and release readiness.

This individual must leverage a refined, multi-functional tool-set of business expertise, technical knowledge, and digital acumen to effectively interact with a breadth of value stream leads, IT leads, business stakeholders and global template owners. The successful candidate must be able to engage and operate with program teams at an execution level, as well as with senior leadership at a strategic level.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Integrated Solution Delivery: Lead S/4HANA E2E solution delivery across all program releases while driving efficiency, standardization, and automation opportunities wherever possible.
• Cross-Functional Solution Design: Own the delivery of cross-functional solution design topics end-to-end, from design through build and testing. Manage cross-functional dependencies, identify integration risks, and proactively resolve issues that may impact release timelines.
• Cross-Functional Conflicts: Own the management, resolution, and reporting of cross-functional conflicts and dependencies. Participate in Scrum of Scrums meetings to support decision-making and remove impediments.
• Solution Confirmation: Manage cross-functional solution design topics end-to-end. Contribute to IT Summit discussions and E2E integration architecture finalization for each release. Facilitate baseline configuration completion and PI Planning for cross-functional design topics.
• PI Execution (Build): Lead cross-functional solution integration build and testing activities involving SAP functional, technical, middleware, infrastructure, security, data, and third-party application teams.
• Testing: Partner with the Testing team to plan and execute end-to-end integration testing for cross-functional topics and interfaces, including L5 stitching for Feature Integration Testing (FIT), regression testing, and defect triage.
• Cross-Functional Defects: Lead defect management for cross-functional defects across testing cycles by prioritizing integration issues, coordinating root cause analysis, and driving timely resolution.
• Continuous Improvement & Automation: Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to streamline release processes, increase automation, and enhance integration quality.
  
  

Qualifications

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree or MBA highly desirable
• Preferred area of study: Information Technology, Supply Chain
• Certification in areas of expertise as SAP S4 HANA preferred
  
  

Required

Experience and Skills:

• 12+ years of relevant hands-on SAP experience in at least 2 functional areas (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, Finance, VCM)
• Demonstrated progressive experience in leadership roles within Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, or large transformation programs
• Solid experience in end-to-end business process design, build and testing
• Hands-on project delivery experience, including demonstrated ability to handle project timelines and milestones in complex business environments
• Experience working in a complex, global system environment and experience with large-scale SAP S/4HANA projects
• Strong customer-centric focus (internal & external), including development and management of partners and ability to engage and build relationships with senior business stakeholders
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to obtain desired results
