ROLE DESCRIPTION 

The Jr. Engineer Erection & Commissioning (Textile) will support the installation, erection, testing, and commissioning of our machines at customer sites. This role involves hands-on field work, coordination with internal teams and customers, and assisting senior engineers in ensuring machines are installed and commissioned as per technical standards and timelines.

This position is ideal for young engineers who are eager to gain practical exposure to large industrial machinery and are open to frequent travel and on-site learning.

Key Responsibilities

·       Assist in erecting and installing machines at customer sites

·       Support commissioning, trial runs, and performance testing of machines

·       Follow installation drawings, manuals, and engineering instructions

·       Assist in alignment, calibration, and mechanical adjustments of machines

·       Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and software teams during commissioning

·       Identify and report installation or commissioning issues to senior engineers

·       Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and site protocols

·       Provide basic operator guidance and support during handover

·       Prepare site visit reports, commissioning checklists, and basic documentation

·       Travel to customer locations across India and overseas as required

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Skills

·       Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

·       1 year of experience in erection, commissioning, or field service roles preferably in Textile industry

·       Basic understanding of mechanical assemblies, motors, drives, and industrial machinery

·       Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and manuals

·       Willingness to travel extensively and work at customer sites

·       Good communication and coordination skills

·       Strong learning attitude and problem-solving mindset

·       Fit for on-site and field work

·       Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
