The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend applications, building robust APIs, and contributing to modern cloud-native application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java/J2EE and Spring Boot.
- Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs based on business and technical requirements.
- Design and implement secure, scalable, and high-performing backend services.
- Develop and maintain microservices-based applications using Spring Boot.
- Build and manage deployment pipelines using CI/CD practices.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot applications in Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Troubleshoot application and production issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding, security, and development best practices.
- Contribute to application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability improvements.
- Work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to APIs, application design, and deployment processes.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE.
- Strong experience in Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience in RESTful API development and integration.
- Good understanding of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes for application deployment and management.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Docker and containerization.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka.
- Knowledge of databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Experience with JUnit/Mockito and automated testing.
- Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools.
- Familiarity with Git and modern source-control practices.
