Platform Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and manage application deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Monitor application health, logs, and production systems to ensure high availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across applications and infrastructure.
• Identify and fix security vulnerabilities in applications, servers, and dependencies.
• Perform framework upgrades, dependency updates, and security patching.
• Manage and maintain AWS infrastructure, including services such as EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, Load Balancers, CloudWatch, and related services.
• Configure and maintain Linux servers, Docker, Nginx, and deployment environments.
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve deployment reliability, scalability, and developer experience.
• Understand existing codebases and write, modify, debug, or enhance application code whenever required.

Skills:

• 2–5 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Software Engineering, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of Git and modern software development workflows.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
• Good understanding of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with Linux, Docker, and web servers such as Nginx.
• Ability to understand and modify application code when required.
• Knowledge of application security best practices and dependency management.
