Senior AP/AR Specialist – Finance (Hyderabad)

About The Role

We're looking for an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable specialist to own the day-to-day finance operations for our India entity. This is an individual-contributor role built for someone who wants to go deep in AP/AR and bookkeeping — sharpening their craft and expanding their scope and ownership within the specialism, rather than moving off it into people management. We value precision, ownership, and people who take genuine pride in clean, accurate books.

You'll report into our Head of Finance (based in Australia), while working day-to-day alongside our India finance team — including our Finance Manager and Finance Analyst — giving you close local support plus exposure to a fast-moving, global consulting business.

What You'll Do

Accounts Payable

• Process supplier invoices end-to-end
• Manage supplier payment runs
• Own vendor relationships and vendor master data
• Process employee expense claims
• Code and reconcile credit card expenses
  
  

Accounts Receivable

• Prepare and issue customer invoices
• Allocate client receipts against invoices
• Manage collections and debtor follow-up
  
  

Bookkeeping

• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Process day-to-day transactions
• Support month-end close activities
  
  

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years' experience in AP/AR and bookkeeping, ideally within a GCC, shared-services, or consulting/professional-services environment
• A track record of building depth and breadth within AP/AR/bookkeeping — someone who has grown their expertise, scope, and impact by going deeper into the craft
• Strong attention to detail and comfort owning a full-cycle finance process with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks, or Zoho Books (we use all three across our entities)
• Strong Excel skills
• Clear written and verbal English for coordination with our Australia/US finance and business teams
