Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP MDG Functional Consultant to join our team in a remote capacity. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions, ensuring high data quality, governance, and seamless integration across SAP landscapes, including S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP MDG solutions for master data domains such as Business Partner (Customer/Vendor), Material, and Finance
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into MDG functional specifications
• Configure and manage MDG data models (MDG-M, MDG-S, MDG-C, MDG-F)
• Work on MDG workflows, change request processes, and governance structures
• Configure Business Rules Framework Plus (BRF+) for validations, derivations, and rules
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across enterprise systems
• Support data migration, data replication (DRF), and integration with SAP modules (MM/SD/FI)
• Collaborate with technical teams for enhancements, integrations, and issue resolution
• Participate in testing (unit, integration, UAT) and support deployment activities
• Provide post-go-live support and continuous improvement of MDG processes
  

Required Skills

• Strong experience in SAP MDG (Master Data Governance) as a Functional Consultant
• Good understanding of master data processes across domains (Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance)
• Hands-on experience with MDG data modeling, workflows, and governance processes
• Experience in BRF+ configuration and rule-based validations
• Knowledge of data replication frameworks (DRF) and integration concepts
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA or ECC environments
• Working knowledge of SAP modules: MM, SD, FI
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  

Nice To Have

• Experience in MDG implementations, rollouts, or upgrades
• Exposure to data migration tools (LTMC, LTMOM, etc.)
• Basic understanding of ABAP/debugging for functional collaboration
