Music Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct engaging rhythm and music classes for students.

• Teach rhythm patterns, beats, tempo, timing, and basic music theory.

• Provide practical training in percussion and rhythm instruments such as drums, tabla, cajón, bongos, djembe, or other relevant instruments.

• Develop students’ coordination, listening skills, musicality, and sense of rhythm.

• Prepare students for performances, competitions, assemblies, and cultural events.

• Create age-appropriate lesson plans and activities.

• Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.

• Encourage creativity, teamwork, discipline, and confidence through music.

• Maintain and responsibly handle musical instruments and classroom equipment.

• Collaborate with other music teachers and school staff for events and performances.
