Job Description : 

Summary :

We are looking for an experienced SAP BusinessObjects (BO) Administrator with strong expertise in SAP BO 4.3 and above| including administration| patching| server management| and authentication configuration. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining a stable BO landscape| performing upgrades| managing clustered environments| and supporting system security through SAML authentication setup.

Key Responsibilities

SAP BO Administration Administer| manage| and support SAP BO 4.3 and above environments. Perform day to day server monitoring| performance tuning| and troubleshooting. Manage BO services| nodes| clusters| CMS repository| and Web Intelligence services. Maintain user groups| security profiles| access levels| and BO folder structures.Installation| Patching & Upgrade Perform installation of Service Packs| Patches| and Hotfixes on existing BO servers. Manage updates in a clustered Windows environment| ensuring minimal downtime. Plan and execute system upgrades| including: o Migration from SAP BO 4.3 SP1 Patch 12 to SAP BO 4.3 SP4 Patch 3 Conduct pre upgrade assessments| post upgrade validations| and rollback planning.Authentication & Security Configure and manage SAML authentication for SAP BO 4.3 and higher versions. Work with Identity Providers (IdP) such as Azure AD/ADFS/Okta for SAML integration. Ensure secure access configuration| SSL setup| and certificate management.System Maintenance & Support Monitor BO servers| job failures| and repository health. Perform regular housekeeping| backup/restore| and CMS database checks. Collaborate with application teams| infrastructure teams| and business users. Provide L2/L3 support for BO platform issues| performance bottlenecks| and failures.

 

Required Skills & Experience

8 to 10 years of experience as an SAP BO Administrator. Hands on experience with SAP BO 4.3 (mandatory). Strong knowledge of: o BO server architectureo Windows clustered server environmentso Service packs/patch installationo SAML authentication setup Experience with BO migration| version upgrades| and environment refresh. Strong troubleshooting skills for BO services| reports| nodes| and CMS. Experience working with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/Sybase) for BO CMS/audit DB.
