Business Intelligence (BI) Team Lead & Architect

Role Description : We are seeking a hands-on BI Team Lead & Architect to take full ownership of our data reporting infrastructure. In this role, you will lead a team of BI developers to dismantle our legacy batch-replication pipelines and architect a sustainable, highly scalable Real-Time Analytics Platform.

You will design and deploy a dual-access Apache Superset ecosystem (nice to have) : a headless, secure embedded portal for our external clients, and a self-service analytics hub for our internal business units.

The ideal candidate bridges the gap between expert-level data engineering (CDC, streaming pipelines, OLAP databases) and strategic team leadership.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications :

·       Experience: 5+ years in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or BI Architecture, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory capacity.

·       BI Platforms: Expert knowledge of Apache Superset (nice to have), including the Embedded SDK, superset_config.py overrides, Celery background workers, and caching architectures.

·       Streaming & CDC: Deep understanding of real-time streaming technologies and log-based CDC connectors (e.g., Debezium, Estuary Flow, Airbyte, Kafka, or AWS DMS).

·       Modern Databases: Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing queries for relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and columnar OLAP engines (specifically ClickHouse or similar).

·       Application Backend Integration: Basic familiarity with backend web application logic (Node.js, Python, or Go) to assist product developers with secure JWT token generation.

·       DevOps/Git: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes) to maintain segregated dev/prod environments.
