Job Objective

The Head of IT is responsible for steering Market IT Thailand as an Information Specialist and managing local IT operations and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Project Management
• Manage and steer various IT projects and company restructuring projects.
• Manage local applications, including coordinating vendors for system maintenance, enhancement and development.
• Manage IT incidents and escalations and provide support to business users.
• Manage and coordinate IT vendors.
• Support user access management.
• Manage requirements and change requests to ensure IT solutions meet business needs.
• Manage central IT projects from Japan Headquarters.
• Execute change projects to support FUSO Thailand’s transition as an independent company, covering both software and infrastructure projects.
• Drive cost management and efficiency projects.
• IT Governance, Security & International Collaboration
• Act as the Local Information Security Officer.
• Identify IT risks and improve relevant processes.
• Ensure proper IT governance and processes are implemented.
• Collaborate with the Head of IT International Team and other international markets.
• Act as a spokesperson and key contact between Thailand and Headquarters.
• Implement international IT standards and guidelines in Thailand.
• Manage the local IT budget and provide budget transparency to Headquarters.
• Support cybersecurity, compliance and international IT initiatives.
• Drive local business through IT solutions and efficient processes according to business priorities.
• Share AI knowledge and support the implementation of AI usage locally.
• IT Infrastructure Support
• Manage local IT infrastructure, including:
• Network
• Data Center
• Devices
• Access Management
• LAN/WAN
• Meeting room systems
• Printers
• Servers
• Coordinate with external IT vendors and central IT teams.
• Provide hands-on technical support when required, including physical installation and troubleshooting.
• Workplace Support
• Provide day-to-day IT support and resolve technical issues for business users.
• Manage and coordinate outsourcing providers.
• Support applications used within the Thailand organization.
• Manage IT assets, including laptops, mobile phones and other devices.
• Manage device provisioning, onboarding, offboarding, replacement and configuration.
• Coordinate with support providers or perform support activities directly when required.
  

Key Stakeholder Relationships

FCVT Management

• Provide consultation and obtain management approval for IT-related matters.
  
  

Finance & Controlling

• Collaborate, provide support and consultation, and resolve IT-related issues.
  
  

Other FCVT Departments

• Collaborate with business functions to support, consult and resolve IT-related issues across departments.
  
  

External Vendors

• Coordinate with vendors and provide consultation regarding IT services, systems and technical matters.
  
  

Overseas Colleagues

• Collaborate with international colleagues on IT governance, cybersecurity, compliance and international IT initiatives.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in:

• Strong knowledge of:

• IT Infrastructure

• Familiarity with Microsoft application platforms such as:
• Power BI

• Experience in IT budget management.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders.
• Good knowledge of IT service operations and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
