Systems Engineer- II

Responsibilities (List All)

• Lead projects to achieve cost, quality and schedule targets.
• Build system-level prototypes and plan engineering builds to evaluate and validate product designs.
• Coordinate cross-functional feedback from engineering builds and drive issue resolution.
• Develop product-level technical specifications, DFMEAs and test plans based on customer needs, field data and reliability requirements.
• Integrate and package mechanical, electronic and hydraulic systems, considering their interactions and dependencies.
• Communicate order configurators and colour schemes to subsystem owners to initiate bills of material.
• Clarify configurator and product-feature queries with Customer Service and Product Management.
• Verify system-level bills of material before release and support production-order line issues.
• Coordinate updates and releases of service, installation and owner manuals, end-of-line test specifications and other technical documents.
• Track field and internal issues, maintain resolution plans, and perform engineering change-management activities using Windchill and SAP.
  
  

Required Skills / Qualifications / Certifications / Tech Stack (List all)

Essential

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics, with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Experience launching new products while working with manufacturing teams and suppliers.
• Experience in engineering project execution, cross-functional coordination and a stage-gate, tollgate or milestone development process.
• Working knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stack-up, DFMEA, FEA, tolerance analysis and statistical tools.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, with sound knowledge of engineering principles, theory and practice.
  
  

Preferable

• Experience integrating or designing complex electro-mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of sheet-metal components, stamping and bending processes, plastic injection moulds, castings and different material types.
• Working knowledge of Windchill and SAP; experience in the dispenser, home-appliance, automotive or peripherals industry is preferred.
