Senior Manager - Materials & Logistics

• Lead the Materials Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics functions for facility.
• Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with demand forecasts, customer orders, inventory targets, and production capacity.
• Plan raw materials supply and manage supplier delivery performance to support production execution while optimizing inventory and service levels.
• Drive integrated business planning through effective S&OP processes.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Procurement, Sales, and Engineering teams to align production schedules with business priorities.
• Monitor and improve schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Accountable for inventory accuracy and problem solving the drivers of inaccuracy.
• Lead scenario planning and contingency planning to address demand fluctuations, material shortages, and operational disruptions.
• Monitor and mitigate risk associated with Excess & Obsolescence.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics to optimize cost and service requirements.
• Manage internal logistics to support production execution while minimizing issues that impact inventory accuracy and component quality.
• Full-time BE in an engineering, production or supply chain related discipline.
• 10-15 years’ experience working in manufacturing environments with majority of time spent in supply chain management.
• Extensive experience in lean manufacturing environments, including material pull systems. MRP only backgrounds would not be successful in this role.
• Experience required in Plan-For-Every-Part analysis and deployment as well as Kan Ban pull replenishment systems execution.
• Experience as an ERP super-user with exposure to major changes and/or ERP transitions is highly desirable.
• Proven track record of driving supply chain transformation and cost optimization initiatives.
