JOB DESCRIPTION

This role is responsible for moving and storing materials using a combination of manual labor and low complexity machinery and equipment within a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The position handles and maintains the flow of materials according to established guidelines, ensuring that materials are available for production activities as required. It logs the movement of incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining accurate records in compliance with GMP and regulatory requirements. The role operates low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner. It supports the optimization of resource use and minimization of costs while maintaining quality standards in the storage and handling of pharmaceutical materials. The position adheres to Good Distribution Practices and standard operating procedures to ensure the integrity and traceability of materials throughout the supply chain. It contributes to the effective functioning of the warehouse and materials management operations within the pharmaceutical manufacturing site.

Essential Functions

• Move and store materials using manual labor and low complexity machinery and equipment in accordance with established guidelines
• Handle and maintain the flow of materials to ensure availability for production activities
• Log the movement of incoming and outgoing materials, maintaining accurate records in compliance with GMP requirements
• Operate low complexity motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Adhere to Good Distribution Practices and standard operating procedures in all materials handling activities
• Support the optimization of resource use and minimization of costs in materials storage and handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas in compliance with GMP and safety standards
• Report any discrepancies, damages, or non-conformances in materials to supervisors promptly
• Participate in training programs to maintain competency in materials handling procedures and GMP compliance
  
  

Additional Responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Undergraduate ITI - Required/ B.Sc - Preferred

Experience: 1 year or more in 1 - 4 Years
