About the Role

The Sales Manager – Business Loan(Direct) in the Retail Banking function is responsible for acquiring Business Loan customers for a designated branch through direct channels. The role involves explaining and selling banking products, acting as a bridge between customers and the bank, and ensuring best-in-class service delivery. The incumbent is expected to conduct catchment mapping, gather customer feedback, and identify potential business opportunities. The role is pivotal in driving client acquisition, deepening relationships, and maximizing lifetime customer value to support the bank’s broader growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Acquire Business Loan customers within the identified segment and geography.
• Meet and exceed monthly targets for new customer acquisition.
• Provide regular feedback to Relationship Managers (RMs) on customer opportunities and requirements.
• Ensure adherence to selling norms and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) defined by the organization.
• Maintain strict compliance with internal policies and external regulatory guidelines.
• Ensure quality sourcing aligned with the bank’s credit and operational policies.
