Program Manager Operations – Gujarat Apprenticeship

ROLE PURPOSE

RightWalk Foundation works to solve socio-economic inequality by co-shaping and co-designing public policy in Education, Livelihood and Health — converting policy into real, on-ground outcomes in partnership with governments across India. Under the PMU – Gujarat Apprenticeship Mission, RightWalk drives large-scale Job Readiness and Apprenticeship programmes for youth, using the Chatur AI Platform and Propel LMS to move students from training into employment.

As Program Manager - Operations, you will own end-to-end delivery of RightWalk's Job Readiness & Apprenticeship programme in Gujarat — turning strategy into disciplined execution across institutions, government stakeholders and field teams. You will be the operational backbone ensuring programmes run on time, on budget, and with data you can defend — from student onboarding to placement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Programme Delivery

• Plan and execute Job Readiness / Apprenticeship programmes across partner ITIs and colleges.
• Drive student onboarding on Chatur AI and NAPS ID registration.
• Oversee baseline and endline assessments, and 10/20/30/60-hour learning pathways.

2. Team & Stakeholders

• Lead and mentor field coordinators and trainers on-ground.
• Liaise with the PMU – Gujarat Apprenticeship Mission and government stakeholders.
• Build partnerships with institutions and industry for apprenticeship uptake.

3. MIS & Quality

• Track KPIs — enrolment, attendance, assessment, conversion — on Propel LMS.
• Publish dashboards and reports for leadership, government and donors.
• Run quality audits and close the loop on field feedback.

4. Compliance & Budget

• Ensure adherence to organisational and government compliance norms.
• Manage programme budgets, resourcing and vendor coordination.
• Build and institutionalise scalable SOPs.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Education: Graduate / Postgraduate in Management, Social Work, Development Studies or a related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in programme / operations management, preferably in education, skilling or livelihoods.
• Language: Fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi; comfortable working with government offices.
• Core skills: Strong project and multi-site programme management.
