Deputy Manager

ideaForge is hiring a Deputy Manager for its Certification Function to manage regulatory compliance and Type Certification (TC) activities across multiple UAV programs. The role supports direct revenue from MHA and Enterprise business. It protects our ability to pass audits, transfer UINs and dispatch products on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage DGCA and BIS audits end to end, from preparation and closure of findings to ongoing compliance
• Maintain AS9100 certification and the related quality documentation
• Prepare, review and manage Type Certification documentation across multiple concurrent TC projects
• Support UIN transfer so customer dispatches are not held up
• Track regulatory changes (DGCA rules, CS-UAS, and similar frameworks) and assess their impact on product and certification plans
• Coordinate with Engineering, Quality and Program teams so test and design evidence meets certification requirements
• Keep audit-ready records and support internal and external compliance reviews
  
  

Requirements

• B.E./B.Tech in Aerospace, Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electronics or a related field
• Hands-on experience with DGCA and BIS compliance, and with AS9100 audits
• Experience preparing TC or airworthiness documentation in aerospace, defense or UAV manufacturing
• Ability to interpret technical regulatory and standards documents
• Strong documentation, follow-up and cross-functional coordination skills
