TGT Science Teacher

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons for Grades 6‑10 in accordance with the CBSE syllabus.
• Employ a variety of teaching methodologies (lectures, demonstrations, lab experiments, project‑based learning) to cater to diverse learning styles.
• Design, supervise, and assess practical laboratory sessions, ensuring safety and compliance with school protocols.
• Prepare and evaluate formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and progress reports using the school’s management system.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school leadership to develop interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular science activities.
• Mentor and counsel students on academic, career, and personal development, supporting the school’s holistic education philosophy.
• Participate in professional development workshops, faculty meetings, and school events.
• Uphold the values and mission of Adani Vidya Mandir by promoting inclusivity, ethical behavior, and a growth mindset.

Essential Qualifications

• Graduate degree (B.Sc.) or equivalent in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related Science discipline.
• Post‑Graduate Diploma in Teacher Education (e.g., B.Ed, D.El.Ed) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
• Clearance of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) or State Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) as per CBSE requirements.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
• Passion for teaching under‑privileged children and commitment to the school’s social mission.

Desired Experience

• Minimum 2–4 years of experience teaching Science at the senior secondary level (Grades 6‑10) in a CBSE or comparable board.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct laboratory sessions and manage school science labs safely.
• Experience in integrating technology (smart boards, digital resources) into classroom instruction.
• Track record of improving student academic performance and fostering curiosity in science.
