About the role

Cult.fit is hiring SDE 2 engineers across our Member Experience, Platforms, and Growth teams. You’ll design, build, and ship scalable products used by millions of members across fitness, wellness, and nutrition, using AI as a force multiplier to move faster and build smarter.

What you’ll do

• Own the design, development, and delivery of features end to end
• Build reliable, high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js
• Use AI tools as a force multiplier across coding, testing, debugging, and code reviews
• Work closely with product, design, and data teams to solve real member problems
• Write clean, testable code and raise the bar through code reviews
• Improve system performance, reliability, and developer productivity

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of experience building production-grade software
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js
• Strong problem-solving skills with solid DSA fundamentals
• Good command of low-level design (OOP, design patterns, clean and extensible code)
• Good understanding of REST APIs, databases, caching, and distributed systems
• Curiosity and comfort in using AI tools to multiply your impact and speed of delivery
• Ownership mindset, with comfort in a fast-paced, product-driven environment
