We're Hiring: Project Manager – CSR Programmes | Sanand, Gujarat

At Freadom Edu, through our charitable arm, the Narendra Gadia Charitable Trust (NGCT), we work to improve how children learn by strengthening the teachers who teach them.

With the support of P&G Shiksha, we are launching a Teacher Capacity Building Programme for government primary school teachers (Grades 1–5) across the Sanand, Detroj and Viramgam blocks of Ahmedabad district. The programme focuses on Communicative English, student-centred teaching and Foundational Literacy & Numeracy (FLN).

We are looking for a Project Manager to lead this programme on the ground, and to grow with us.

What you'll do

• Lead end-to-end implementation across schools in the three blocks

• Coordinate with the District Education Office, BRCs, CRCs and headteachers

• Plan and run teacher training, track participation, and support classroom implementation

• Manage on-ground staff and volunteers

• Monitor progress and prepare reports for the CSR partner and leadership

Where this role leads

Sanand is where you begin. Once you have delivered the programme successfully, the role grows into a senior position where you will build CSR partnerships and bring new projects to Freadom Edu across Gujarat.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience implementing CSR or development-sector projects, ideally in education

• Experience working with government education departments

• Strong stakeholder management and reporting skills

• Fluency in Gujarati, Hindi and English

• Based in or willing to relocate to Ahmedabad/Sanand, and comfortable with regular field travel

• Bonus: CSR networks in Gujarat or experience with funder relationships and proposals
