Job Summary
CGI is looking for an experienced Pricefx Configuration Engineer / Consultant with strong expertise in configuring, customizing, and implementing Pricefx pricing management solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the pricing domain, Java development, Azure cloud services, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, configuring, and maintaining Pricefx applications, implementing business pricing requirements, integrating applications through REST APIs, and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to deliver effective pricing solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities
Configure, customize, and implement Pricefx pricing management solutions based on business requirements.
Perform Pricefx administration, customization, and development activities.
Design, develop, implement, and maintain Java-based applications and software components.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and pricing configuration solutions.
Develop and implement business rules, pricing strategies, and pricing workflows.
Work on pricing management, price optimization, and revenue management solutions.
Integrate Pricefx with third-party applications using REST APIs.
Leverage Azure cloud services and concepts for application development and deployment.
Conduct software analysis, programming, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
Identify and resolve production and non-production application issues.
Follow SDLC best practices, including coding standards, code refactoring, code reviews, source control, build, deployment, and testing.
Collaborate with business analysts, business users, technical teams, and management to gather and understand requirements.
Recommend improvements to existing processes, application performance, and development practices.
Work effectively in an Agile and self-managed development environment.
Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role
Mandatory Skills & Technical Expertise
Certified Pricefx Configuration Engineer.
Strong hands-on experience configuring and customizing Pricefx.
Experience in Pricefx administration, development, and implementation.
Strong understanding of pricing management solutions and pricing domain concepts.
Expertise in business rules and pricing configuration.
Good Java development experience.
Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure concepts and cloud services.
Experience with REST API integrations.
Strong understanding of software development processes and SDLC best practices.
Experience with source control, build and deployment management, testing, and code reviews.
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Secondary / Good-to-Have Skills
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks.
Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
Experience in application customization and front-end development.
Knowledge of cloud-based application integration and deployment practices.
