Key Responsibilities - PTPX

• PnR Power Analysis Setup
• Configure power analysis variables as part of the PnR flow.
• Ensure correct environment setup for power estimation.
• Data Extraction
• Perform FSDB extraction for power analysis.
• Conduct activity profiling to capture switching activity.
• Execute PPRTL runs before validation.
• Synthesis Data Validation
• Validate synthesis data against respective scenarios.
• Obtain proper annotation for power analysis. With this PnR can have better saif optimization.
• Debug annotation issues including:
• Sequential elements
• Clock gaters
• Block inputs
• Clock signals
• CAC and power-related discrepancies.
• Cross-Team Collaboration
• Interact with IP, DV, and PD teams to align on design requirements.
• Track PD implementation progress and resolve issues proactively.
  

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of VLSI Physical Design and PnR flows.
• Experience with power analysis tools and FSDB handling.
• Familiarity with synthesis validation and annotation debugging.
• Good communication skills for cross-team collaboration.
