The Engineer – Architectural Specification will develop and manage relationships with architects, designers, and consultants to drive the specification of dormakaba products and solutions in projects. The role combines technical presentations, coordination with internal teams, and specification management to promote premium architectural hardware solutions aligned with industry standards and project requirements.

What You Will Do

• Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, and consultants to promote dormakaba products and solutions.
• Deliver technical presentations and participate in product and solution discussions to support architectural specifications.
• Understand project requirements and recommend premium architectural hardware solutions aligned with applicable standards.
• Develop, coordinate, and manage product specifications and related technical documentation for projects.
• Work with internal teams to support specification activities, address technical requirements, and provide project updates.
• Maintain specification records, presentations, documentation, and project updates in CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
• Travel as required to engage with architects, designers, and consultants and support project-related activities.
  
  

What we require

• BE, B.Tech, or BSc qualification, with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in architectural specifications, architectural hardware, building products, or related technical sales or support roles, with exposure to architects, designers, and consultants.
• Ability to build relationships with architects and consultants through presentations, technical discussions, and product solution promotion.
• Basic working knowledge of AutoCAD and strong proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Experience coordinating specifications, documentation, presentations, and project updates using CRM tools such as Salesforce.com.
• A results-oriented, team-focused approach, with strong communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel as required for the role.
  
  

What we prefer

• Knowledge of ANSI, ISO, DIN, and EN hardware standards and building codes.
• Familiarity with project management tools and specification processes.
• Experience handling consultant-driven and specification-based projects.
• Ability to monitor market trends and competitor activities and recommend strategic actions.
• GAI or AHC industry certification, either in progress or completed.
