Lead Business Analyst - Data

Responsibilities

• Review enterprise business logic, legacy procedural code, and operational workflows, and rework them into modern processes that are scalable, maintainable, and efficient
• Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements, functional specifications, and data mapping rules
• Own end-to-end migration and modernization initiatives and keep business objectives aligned with technical execution
• Establish acceptance criteria, verify business logic during unit testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), and promote best practices in data governance, engineering principles, and quality assurance
• Act as the main liaison between business units and technical/engineering teams, clarify technical concepts into business value, and manage expectations throughout project lifecycles
• Champion modernization efforts independently by identifying operational bottlenecks and proposing process improvements that optimize data workflows and decision-making
  
  

Requirements

• Extensive experience of 10-15 years of professional experience across business analysis, business process management, or software/data solution delivery
• Solid background in relational databases, SQL-based procedural code (Oracle PL/SQL), and modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Azure, and/or AWS
• Practical understanding of Python logic, modular applications, and exception handling to collaborate with technical development teams
• Strong analytical ability with meticulous attention to detail when interpreting complex business rules and end-to-end data flows
• Advanced communication skills (verbal and written), with proven stakeholder management, requirement workshops, and cross-functional leadership
• Ability to work independently, manage changing priorities, and deliver complex transformation initiatives from early design through successful implementation
