Role Overview

As a Business Analyst within Purplle.com, you will be responsible for driving daily and monthly revenue targets by closely monitoring platform performance, identifying gaps and trends, and partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure data-backed decision-making and course corrections. The ideal candidate will have a strong business acumen, love working with numbers, and thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Revenue Planning & Tracking:
  • Plan and track daily, weekly, and monthly platform revenue numbers.
  • Monitor performance against targets and highlight key deviations in real time.
  • Category Performance Analysis:
  • Analyze performance across different categories to identify growth opportunities and areas of concern.
  • Provide actionable insights to category managers and business teams.
  • Trend & Gap Analysis:
  • Identify emerging trends, patterns, and revenue-impacting gaps using historical and real-time data.
  • Proactively flag underperforming areas and support resolution strategies.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Marketing, Category, Product, and Operations teams to ensure alignment on business goals.
  • Provide timely and accurate data support to help teams execute corrective actions.
  • Reporting & Insights:
  • Create and manage daily dashboards, reports, and trackers for leadership visibility.
  • Develop and maintain automated reports and dashboards using Power BI, Power Query, Data Studios, Looker, and other visualization tools to communicate insights effectively.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and advanced Excel for data analysis and manipulation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a sharp aptitude for logical thinking.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented culture.
  • E-commerce experience will be preferred.
