Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Manager – Record to Report (R2R) to oversee end-to-end accounting operations and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. The role involves managing month-end close activities, maintaining compliance with accounting standards, driving process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end R2R processes, including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Intercompany Accounting, Accruals, Provisions, and Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or local accounting standards.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and address audit requirements effectively.
• Monitor and maintain key controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Track KPIs and SLAs and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, and business stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and support business needs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Support transitions, system implementations, and transformation initiatives as required.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• CA, CMA, CPA, MBA Finance, or equivalent qualification.
• 10–12 years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with strong exposure to Record to Report (R2R) operations.
• Sound knowledge of General Ledger accounting, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
• Familiarity with IFRS, US GAAP, and internal control frameworks.
• Experience working in Shared Services, BPO, GCC, or multinational environments is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process transitions and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Exposure to automation tools and financial reporting platforms such as BlackLine or Hyperion.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
