Job Summary

The Territory Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth of Particle Board products in the assigned territory by developing strong dealer networks, managing distributors, and increasing product visibility in the market. The role includes achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and building strong relationships with dealers, carpenters, contractors, and furniture manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development
  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets for Particle Board products.
  • Identify and appoint new dealers and distributors in the territory.
  • Increase market penetration and expand the customer base.
  • Promote Particle Board products to furniture manufacturers, contractors, and interior designers.
  • Channel Management
  • Maintain strong relationships with dealers and distributors.
  • Ensure proper stock availability at distributor and dealer levels.
  • Implement company sales schemes and promotional activities.
  • Monitor dealer performance and support them in increasing sales.
  • Market Development
  • Conduct regular market visits and generate new business opportunities.
  • Organize carpenter meets, dealer meetings, and product demonstrations.
  • Increase product awareness among carpenters, architects, and interior designers.
  • Market Intelligence
  • Track competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Share market feedback and customer requirements with management.
  • Collection & Reporting
  • Ensure timely payment collection from dealers and distributors.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
  • Maintain territory sales data and performance tracking.

Qualification

Graduate in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred)

Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in plywood / MDF / particle board / laminates / building materials industry.
