About the role: Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the implementation of TGC’s marketing strategy, with a strong focus on campaign management, partner marketing activations and execution of TGC’s digital marketing initiatives across programs, events and communications.
This is a role that blends campaign coordination, partner marketing, content execution and marketing operations — ideal for someone who’s organized, creative, curious and excited to make an impact at the intersection of technology, gender equity and career advancement. As a part of the Marketing team, you’ll help bring our mission to life — driving brand awareness, improving user acquisition and retention, and ensuring our marketing initiatives are executed effectively and consistently across channels.

About the role: Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in the implementation of TGC’s marketing strategy, with a strong focus on campaign management, partner marketing activations and execution of TGC’s digital marketing initiatives across programs, events and communications.
This is a role that blends campaign coordination, partner marketing, content execution and marketing operations — ideal for someone who’s organized, creative, curious and excited to make an impact at the intersection of technology, gender equity and career advancement. As a part of the Marketing team, you’ll help bring our mission to life — driving brand awareness, improving user acquisition and retention, and ensuring our marketing initiatives are executed effectively and consistently across channels.
Responsibilities
Coordination and Implementation of Marketing Plan
- Execute daily, weekly and monthly tasks outlined in TGC’s marketing plan.
- Support development and execution of lead generation, engagement and retention campaigns through paid, organic and partnership-driven marketing efforts.
- Develop and maintain website and social media content that reflects TGC’s tone, mission, and programs.
- Manage and grow TGC’s social media presence (LinkedIn, Facebook) to increase engagement and reach new audiences.
- Assist in organizing and promoting virtual and in-person webinars, summits, conferences and community events.
- Coordinate partner-driven marketing activations — support TGC’s collaborations with external stakeholders through co-branded content, joint campaigns and event visibility.
- Coordinate production of promotional materials, collateral, and event booth logistics.
- Create and curate visual and creative assets — in-house or with contractors — ensuring brand consistency and storytelling impact across channels.
- Manage content marketing process from ideation through posting-including owning the organizations content calendar, blogging schedule, newsletter creation and distribution, and project profile process.
- Maintain and update TGC’s marketing collateral library and marketing templates (e.g., branded presentation decks with key messages).
- Support end-to-end campaign execution across multiple initiatives (programs, events, partnerships) — from planning and content coordination to launch and post-campaign wrap-up.
- Coordinate campaign assets, messaging, timelines, and cross-channel distribution (email, social, landing pages, partner channels, etc.)
- Manage execution of digital marketing efforts including paid campaigns (e.g. Meta, Linkedin, Google Ads), working with existing tools and platforms.
- Manage campaign tracking setup, including UTM parameters, link tracking, and performance monitoring.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance (e.g. engagement, conversions, traffic sources) and provide insights to improve outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality campaign delivery.
- Support ongoing management and optimization of HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub.
- Assist with contact segmentation, lists, workflows, forms, and landing pages.
- Collaborate on email campaign creation, testing and deployment.
- Maintain CRM data integrity and ensure alignment with marketing and sales goals.
- Set up and maintain tracking systems and provide reports and insights on campaign performance and customer engagement.
- Support marketing automation efforts to streamline lead nurturing and lifecycle marketing.
- Help troubleshoot and resolve HubSpot-related requests and tickets (form logic, campaign setup, automation issues).
- Attend virtual and in-person marketing activations, assisting with event logistics as needed.
- Participate in TGC team meetings, related projects, and strategy sessions as required.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Analytical and thoughtful – You use data and insight to improve campaigns and make decisions that drive impact.
- 2+ years of general marketing experience, ideally in B2C, Edtech or professional development settings, is required.
- Hands on experience with digital marketing analytics and campaign tracking (e.g. UTM parameters, performance metrics, traffic sources, conversion tracking).
- Experience working with creative and project management tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, Figma, Miro, Asana, ClickUp or similar.
- Experience working with CRM platforms (e.g. HubSpot), including exposure to workflows, automation, and campaign tracking is considered a strong asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with keen attention to detail.
- Experience managing marketing campaigns and content across channels (including social media), from ideation to execution and performance tracking.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards, inclusive marketing practices, or social-impact storytelling is an asset.
- Demonstrated experience with the principles of anti-racism, anti-oppression, equity and justice in workplace settings.
- Proficiency working in fully remote environments.
- Applicants must be eligible to work in Canada for the duration of the contract.
- Remote work from home position, located anywhere in Canada. Preference given to applicants that are located +/- 1 hour from EST time zone.
- Work is computer based and may include lots of sitting.
- Attendance at occasional in-person meetings or events is required.
- Some evening work may be required to support virtual or in-person events.
- This position reports to Senior Marketing Manager, TGC
- The position may coordinate the work of other team members and contractors (eg., event vendors, copywriter, graphic designer)
- Full time, remote (40 hours a week)
- $62,000 - $72,000 salary, plus a $2,000 health spending account
- One year contract position, ending March 2027, with possibility of extension based on funding

Our Hiring Process
- All applications will be reviewed and assessed using the criteria outlined in the job posting qualifications section (we don’t use resume scanning or AI tools).
- Follow-up interviews will be scheduled for 2-3 top candidates, these are usually one hour long and have 2-3 TGC team members present.
- We may ask the final two candidates to complete an assignment, if required.
- We provide a $50 honorarium for candidates who participate in the one hour interview and an additional honorarium for those that are asked to complete an assignment.
- We will follow up with all candidates to notify them when a hiring decision has been made.
