Service engineer

The opportunity

Global product technical support for technology centers and factories. Perform feasibility study to create changes as per the requirements in Problem Report raised by cross-functional teams. Make the changes as the Product Change Request (PCR) or Customer Specific Change (CSC). Create 3D models and 2D drawings proficiently for HV GIS components using Creo tool. Also have experience of working with Windchill PLM system. Create & modify BOM in SAP. Follow & maintain the standard procedure of change management for every workflow.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• Field Service Engineering work is focused on providing technical advice to customers including commissioning, installing, and testing of products/equipment at site across India
• Troubleshoot and Overhauling of the breaker
• Train customers on the features of the equipment they have purchased at Factory or site.
• Identifying and correcting more complex problems associated with start-up
• Researching, evaluating, and recommending new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs
• Developing on-going relationships with customers to secure future business.
• Perform tolerance chain calculation.
• Participates constructively within team discussion. Shares own technical knowledge and support colleagues in applying processes and tools to ensure timely and high-quality results.
• Perform burst pressure analysis for pressure vessel and basic dielectric calculations.
• Shows solid documentation skills and writes technical reports independently.
• Coordination with various cross functional stakeholders.

Your Background

• Diploma Electrical /B.E.Electrical ,
• 2 to 3 years of Experience.
• Involve and generate solution for Design to Value activities.
• Create development report, analysis report, assembly & test instruction, etc.
• Perform root cause analysis.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
