MMMUT, Gorakhpur, UP, India invites applications for Contract Faculty Positions at MMMUT from eligible and interested candidates
About- Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, a State Government Funded University, is inviting online applications for faculty positions on a contract basis for 5 years, with a possibility of extension . The university is a non-affiliating and NAAC ‘A’ grade accredited technological university offering various programs including Ph.D., M. Tech., M.C.A., M.B.A., M.Sc., B. Tech., B.B.A., B. Pharm., and Educational Programmes.

Applications are invited for faculty positions in the following disciplines/subjects :
- Education
- Chemistry & Environmental Science
- Physics & Material Science
- Mathematics & Scientific Computing
- English
- Psychology
- Management Studies
- Pharmaceutical Science
- Computer Science & Engineering
- Information Technology
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (IOT)
Eligibility/Qualification–
The minimum qualifications and experience vary by discipline and designation. General requirements include :
- Engineering / Technology: B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or Integrated M.Tech. in a relevant branch with first class or equivalent. Ph.D. is required for Associate Professor and Professor positions .
- Management: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline and Master’s Degree in Business Administration/PGDM/M.C.A./ICWA/M.Com. with First Class or equivalent and two years of professional experience. Ph.D. is required for Associate Professor and Professor positions . NET/SET/SLET is an additional requirement for Assistant Professor .
- Science: A Master’s degree with 55% marks in a concerned/relevant/allied subject. Candidates must have cleared NET/CSIR or a similar test accredited by UGC, or hold a Ph.D. degree as per UGC regulations .
- Pharmacy: First Class B. Pharma. with Master’s degree in Pharmacy (M. Pharma.) in appropriate branch and Ph.D. degree in any Pharmacy subject. Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act is also required .
- Education: Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or English) with a minimum of 55% marks, and a B.Ed. degree with a minimum of 55% marks. National Eligibility Test or State Level Eligibility Test or Ph.D. in Education or the concerned subject is required .
Job/Position Description-
Faculty members will be involved in teaching, research, and development within the university’s various programs . The university provides ample scope for the professional development of faculty members .
Designation: The recruitment is for Faculty positions across various disciplines, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor .
Remuneration Table: The fixed remuneration for these positions is as follows :
Designation Fixed Remuneration (per month) Professor Rs. 1,10,000/- Associate Professor Rs. 85,000/- Assistant Professor Rs. 57,700/-
