Designation/Position- Teaching Track Faculty (on Contract)
DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India invites applications for Teaching Track Faculty (on Contract) from eligible and interested candidates.
About- Applications are invited from suitable candidates for teaching track faculty positions (on contract) in the area of Computer Science and Data Science. Candidates who satisfy the following eligibility criteria and have substantial industrial experience in the areas of Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, Systems Programming, Computer Networking, Artificial Intelligence, Databases, Data Analytics and related areas are encouraged to apply for this position.

Location- DA-IICT, Gandhinagar, Gujarat, India
Eligibility/Qualification–
(i) A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or allied disciplines from an Institute of repute. Candidates with a master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics or allied areas with substantial experience in Data Analytics, Data Visualization are also encouraged to apply; and
(ii) 5+ years experience in the software industry and/or academia in the areas as mentioned above.
Job/Position Description-
Initial contract period is for 3 years and it may be renewed based on satisfactory performance. Teaching Track Faculty are required to teach two courses per semester, that is, four courses in an academic year.
Candidates without a PhD degree, who joined as Teaching Track Faculty, will be encouraged to join the PhD studies at the Institute after fulfilling the admissions criteria of the PhD program, along with the primary job engagement.
Remuneration
INR 12 Lakh per annum CTI (consolidated). Deserving candidates may be offered additional incentives commensurate with qualification and experience.
- Insurance Coverage of Rs. 10 lakh per year for self and family (floater). Premium paid by the Institute.
- Medical support: Doctors on campus. Basic medicines are disbursed from the Medical Centre.
- Leave benefits: 8 days of casual leave & 60 days’ vacation in a year
