IIT Kanpur, India invites applications for Scientist-D Post at IIT Kanpur from eligible and interested candidates
About- Applications from Indian nationals are invited for the position of Scientist-D in the project entitled, “Health Technology Assessment in India”. The project is funded by HTAin, Department of Health Research, Government of India.
Research/Job Area- Microbiology/biotechnology/biochemistry/public health/health economics/health policy/health technology assessment/allied areas
Location- IIT Kanpur
Eligibility/Qualification–
PhD in microbiology/biotechnology/biochemistry/public health/health economics/health policy/health technology assessment/allied areas, with experience in quantitative data collection and analysis, and 5 years of post-PhD experience
OR
Master’s degree in microbiology/biotechnology/biochemistry/public health/health economics/health policy/health technology assessment/allied areas + 8 years of relevant experience
Relevant Skills & Experience
- Experience in the collection, handling and analysing quantitative health data
- Knowledge of health technology assessment
- A working knowledge of Indian health care systems
- Impressive publications record (relative to career stage) in high impact quality research journals.
Position: Scientist-D
Number of positions: One
Salary: Rs 78000+HRA
Duration of Appointment
- The post is purely temporary and is on contractual basis.
- The appointment for the post is initially for one year. Renewal of the appointment will be subjected to the performance of the candidate, and the project extension from the funder.
