• Bachelors in Any Stream

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Railway safety standards, project SHE (Safety, Health & Environment) plans, and statutory regulations by conducting daily site safety inspections, identifying hazards, and implementing corrective actions.
• Supervise safe execution of railway construction activities such as track works, bridge works, signaling, and electrical works by enforcing permit-to-work systems, PPE usage, and safe work procedures.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs for employees, subcontractors, and visitors, while maintaining attendance and safety training records.
• Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare incident reports, recommend preventive measures, and monitor closure of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with project management, railway officials, and contractors to ensure operational safety during traffic blocks, worksite protection, emergency preparedness, safety audits, and compliance reporting throughout the PSSA project lifecycle.
