We’re currently looking for an Data Engineer to join our development team engaged in delivering a key global big data processing platform for Worldpanel by Numerator - a key element of our business strategy. One of our continuous goals will be to secure a smooth and efficient transition to a more digitally focused cloud environment. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting its delivery, as well as for implementing the best data engineering practices while also mentoring more junior elements. This will also be a great opportunity to work with the latest tech and modern software engineering practices.

In this role you will:

• Be responsible for the delivery of tested, high quality code
• Adhere to coding standards and implementation of Kantar Technology standards
• Build suitable automation test suites within Azure DevOps
• Maintain and update automation test suites as required
• Carry out manual testing, load testing, exploratory testing as required
• Work closely with Bas and Senior Data Developers to consistently achieve sprint goals
• Assist in estimation of sprint-by-sprint stories and tasks
• Pro-actively take a responsible approach to product delivery
  
  

What You'll Bring to Numerator

Requirements:

• 3 to 5 years expereince as a Data Engineer
• Good Python skills
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure Cloud
• Experience in Agile methodologies (Srum/Kanban)
• Knowledge/experience with Apache Spark, PySpark, Databricks
• Experience working with Devops pipeline, preferably Azure DevOps
• Fluent Portuguese and English
