Compliance Apprenticeship Training at Tata Steel Jamshedpur & Tinplate Division

Role Description

• Trainees will be under on the job plant training for 1 year (under Apprenticeship Act,1961 and its latest amendments) at various sections of Tata Steel Jamshedpur and Tinplate Division.
• During the one-year training period, candidates shall be given stipend as per the Apprenticeship Act which will be shared by Tata Steel Limited and Govt as per NATs and NAPs guideline.
• Candidates will be registered on the Apprenticeship Portal (In NAPS portal (For ITI) and in NATS 2.0 portal (For Diploma)).
• On successful completion of one year training, candidates will be assessed through written test and interview. Basis their performance, they will be awarded one year apprenticeship completion certificate from SNTI.

B. Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Metallurgical / Production Engineering

ITI in Fitter / Electrician / Machinist / Welder

Non-Engineering Graduate – BSc with Chemistry / BBA with Computer knowledge

Non-Engineering Graduate – BA (Only for ST community)

Pass Out / 2026 appearing Candidates. Passing year should be on or after 2021.

Between 1st July 2001 and 1st July 2008 (Both dates are included)

Who have already done / left / doing their Apprenticeship from other organisations shall not be considered.

Candidates must have Aadhaar seeded bank account

Candidates must have PAN Card for stipend processing. PAN Card must be Aadhaar linked.
