Service Engineers – Ahmedabad

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Service Engineer to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of industrial gearboxes. You will be expected to work independently as well as part of a team to troubleshoot and diagnose problems, provide technical support to clients, and perform repairs and maintenance services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on industrial gearboxes.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with gearboxes and other related equipment.
• Provide technical support and advice to clients on gearboxes and related equipment.
• Perform repairs and maintenance services on gearboxes and related equipment.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of training programs for clients and staff.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in gearbox technology and industry trends.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in the repair and maintenance of industrial gearboxes.
• Strong technical knowledge of gearboxes and related equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with gearboxes and related equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Fluent in English and Hindi (additional languages a plus).
• Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
