Intern - GIS

Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic GIS Interns to support the QC activities of our ongoing and upcoming GIS projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks on GIS datasets to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Validate and review spatial data in accordance with project standards and quality guidelines.
• Support GIS data editing and correction activities using ArcMap and QGIS.
• Identify, document, and report data discrepancies and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  
  

Eligibility Criteria

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Geography, Geoinformatics, GIS, Remote Sensing, Civil Engineering, or a related field (fresh graduates may apply).
• Basic understanding of GIS concepts and spatial data.
• Familiarity with ArcMap and QGIS.
• Prior exposure to GIS data editing, validation, or quality checking will be an added advantage.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Malayalam is mandatory.
