Java Developer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable, high-performance applications in a product-based environment and will contribute as an individual contributor (IC) with hands-on coding responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend applications using Java technologies
• Write clean, efficient, and high-quality code following best practices
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and performance optimization
• Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions
• Ensure application performance, scalability, and security
• Work in an Agile development environment with CI/CD practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in Java development, preferably in product-based companies
• Strong expertise in:
• Core Java
• Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs)
• Multithreading & Concurrency
• Collections & Exception Handling
• Hands-on experience with:
• Spring Framework, Spring Boot
• Hibernate / JPA
• REST APIs & Microservices
• Solid understanding of:
• Data Structures & Algorithms
• Design Patterns
• Experience with databases:
• SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills
