Accountant

Innovation & Automation is a leading home automation company dedicated to creating innovative solutions that elevate modern living. With a team of 50+ talented professionals, we are expanding our horizons and seeking an Accountant to lead our Finance & Accounts department.

Role Overview

• As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial health of our organization.
• Your role will encompass financial reporting, budgeting, and overseeing day-to-day accounting operations.
• The ideal candidate will have a basic background in accounting, financial analysis, and leadership.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Financial Management:
• Oversee the preparation of financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic financial decisions.
• Accounting Operations:
• Supervise and lead the accounting team in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Manage the accounts payable and receivable functions.
• Budgeting and Forecasting:
• Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor annual budgets.
• Prepare financial forecasts and variance analyses.
• Identify areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Compliance and Auditing:
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors during annual audits.
• Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Financial Reporting:
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to leadership.
• Communicate financial results and insights to non-financial stakeholders.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Proven experience (1+ years) as an Accountant or similar role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Proficiency in accounting software(Tally) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Basic leadership and communication skills.
